In
2000 indie filmmaker, Mark Norfolk sets out to make a film
about
independent filmmaking in the United Kingdom. Using his own
experiences of trying to produce a short film titled 'Food Fuck Fight
Finish' Norfolk ends up making a quirky film within a film called Love
Is Not Enough that explores the growth of technology and the
death of the purist cinema aesthetic.
The
film, experimental in nature and execution premiered at the BFM
International Film Festival in London, then Europe's largest
black-themed festival event gaining a mass of media attention from
European networks, the BBC and ITV's popular 'Movie Nights' programme
which called it a 'highlight of the festival'.
A
sold out premiere screening at the Curzon Cinema pointed to an
exciting future for the film. However, the next day was 9/11 and film
was the last thing on people's minds, let alone an avant garde film
breaking into the mainstream. A year later Love Is Not Enough opened in
a limited run at the Curzon Soho.
A Special
Edition DVD of this uniquely original mockumentary film is available
for
purchase from Prussia Lane Productions at 9.99UKP + P&P whilst
